Dental School
During my time in dental school, I have had the opportunity to meet and develop relationships with my classmates, faculty, and staff at the Dental College of Georgia. One of the highlights from the past couple years has been moving through the curriculum with my cohort. Many of my classmates have contributed to the culture of support, encouragement, and growth and I am indebted to the care and inspiration I have received from them.

Volunteering & Mission Work
One of the things I have observed entering into this field is the growing need for dental care for low-income or uninsured individuals. I hope to use my skills in dentistry to help improve communities locally and globally and have prioritized this through volunteering with the Mobile Dental Van (CMDA), Mercy Health Clinic, AMEN free clinic, and mission trips abroad (GHO).

Dental Research Society
I joined the Dental Research Society as a first-year dental student and saw a need for additional organizational frameworks to support research and faculty projects at the school. Many of the current systems were heavily disorganized and lacked appropriate funding to accomplish these activities. Throughout my second and third year of dental school, our executive board team has worked to build the foundation for the Dental Research Society such that it can continue supporting research activities at the school to continue beyond our tenure.

Student Cinic Planner (Leadership Project)
Entering into junior clinic, I struggled with patient management and dealing with scattered clinic information. During my third and fourth year, I have been working on developing a student clinic planner to reduce the disorganization and burden for other students entering into the student clinic such that they can focus on patient care and learning procedures. Below are images of Version 1.0 of the Student Clinic Planner which includes a Patient Manager, Scheduler, DCG contacts, and extensions that centralize important clinic information and tools.

Open-Source RotaRod (Build Project)
During my undergraduate years, I had an opportunity to design and build an open-source mouse behavioral testing device while working with Dr. Muntean's lab in the the Department of Pharmacology and Toxicology. These experiences have allowed me to explore 3D modeling tools, research & development, collaboration, and problem solving while having the opportunity to explore my interests in research and programming.
